Together with more than 5,500 Christian churches, Love INC serves hundreds of thousands of individuals facing crises or chronic needs, helping them move from merely surviving to truly thriving.

The mission of Love INC of Shelby County, like the other affiliates, is to mobilize local churches to provide a holistic, Christ-centered approach to care—addressing spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical needs to transform lives and communities for the glory to God.

What We Believe

Love INC is built on the philosophy of Redemptive Compassion, a biblical approach to serving others with dignity, empowerment, and transformation through six guiding principles.

Value

Everyone is created with a God-given purpose, and Redemptive Compassion seeks to help individuals recognize their inherent value of being made in the image of God.

Relationship

Change happens through meaningful connections. By building authentic Christ-centered relationships, we create an environment where individuals feel safe and encouraged.

Potential

True compassion focuses on more than meeting immediate needs; it aims for lasting change, helping people see and experience their God-given potential.

Partnership

Effective help requires collaboration. Redemptive Compassion encourages mutual participation, where both the helper and the recipient work together toward sustainable progress.

Decisions
