Turning Point

Turning Point Domestic Violence Services helps anyone facing abuse or unsafe situations. They offer a 24-hour crisis hotline, safe emergency shelter, longer-term housing, legal help, and support for children. They also provide safety planning, counseling, and referrals so families can find safety, stability, and healing.

Emergency and longer term housing if necessary to women and their dependent children suffering from physical, spiritual, emotional and/or sexual abuse. Also, casework, clothing, legal aid, budgeting, counseling, childcare, peer support groups, transportation, life skills training and more.

Sunshine House

Sunshine House supports adults experiencing homelessness or unstable housing (their overnight program is not yet open). However, their Day Center at 267 E Washington St., Shelbyville, IN 46176 offers a safe daytime space with coffee, basic supplies, relationship-based support, and connections to local resources.
